The Benefits of Outdoor Fitness Training

  1. Feel-good factor

We are all extremely fortunate to live in a country with great weather, and being in nature will always help to keep people in a positive mood. The oxygen boosts you get from the fresh air gets the serotonin flowing, and it’s not just about feeling good. The natural environment puts an extra demand on the body, meaning you need to work harder to perform the exercises.  

  1. Challenge yourself

Your body quickly recognizes and adapts to any exercise or training you complete. To progress you must continually make it guess – and challenge it in different ways.
 

  1. Get a total workout

Master the fundamental exercises, such as squats and lunges while using the correct forms and techniques to ensure your workout is effective. You can ask the bootcamp instructor any questions you want and he/she will make sure you do the exercise with correct form to achieve a total-body workout for effective results.

  1. Enjoy the outdoors all year round

If you love watching the seasons change, getting fresh air, and don’t mind working out in the rain or even snow, then bootcamp is perfect for you. Don’t dress up in your best designer gear as it’s going to get trashed. Just sling on your old kit and be prepared to get down and dirty. It’s all part of the fun.

  1. Practice makes perfect

You get what you put into it, the harder you train and work to master the correct form for the exercise, the better results you will achieve.

  1. Make new friends

Attending classes is a fantastic way to meet new people, and the sense of camaraderie will encourage you to keep going, even when your body’s protesting J

  1. You don’t need to be super-fit

Don’t be put off if you’re not fit as a fiddle, as the classes cater to all levels. Keep attending classes and you’ll soon be moving up the ranks as your fitness levels improve.

  1. Surprise yourself, it may even be fun

At Plant Based Life we make the group sessions fun. It’s like a military type bootcamp J, and we want everyone to enjoy the experience. Our bootcamps have a focus on fun and dropping press-ups alongside your fellow bootcampers will really motivate you. Whatever your worries – hate to exercise or have no stamina – by the end of the 45-minute session you’ll have overcome them.

  1. Boost your confidence

After your first class, your body will feel the effects big time, but a few sessions in you’ll probably experience weight loss. Keep going and soon you’ll be glowing with health and confidence. J
