A Healthy Gut & Microbiome in relation to COVID19 and Other Infections & Illnesses

Recently I have done some videos talking about how a compromised microbiome can affect your response to COVID19 if you catch it, as well as other infections and diseases. There have been numerouse studies done recently that show that an imbalance of healthy and unhealthy bacteria in the gut and how it affects immune response. Over 70% of our immunity is in the lining of our gut and it is so important to maintain a healthy gut by consuming a wide array of plant foods covering all important nutrients and also prebiotics and fibre.

Over the years many factors will take a toll on our microbiome including antibiotics, processed foods, herbicides / pesticides on fruits and vegetables, stress, toxins in environment etc, and now more than any time it is so important to maintain good gut health so that if we are exposed to infections and illnesses we have a strong immune response. Over the last few years I have learned a lot following the information that Zach Bush MD, who is an expert in this area and has a wealth of knowlege on the microbiome and many other areas of health and wellness. I recently listened to the following interview between Del Bigtree and Zach Bush, and I highly recommend you listen to this excellent interview, there is so much important info here in regards to COVID19, Microbiome and much more, scroll to the bottom of this page and click to watch this interview.
